Taika Waititi’s Jojo Rabbit gets a new trailer

September 3, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Ahead of its London Film Festival screening and US release next month, a new trailer has been released for writer-director Taika Waititi’s upcoming WII satire Jojo Rabbit which follows the story of a young German boy (Roman Griffin) and his imaginary friend Adolf Hitler (Waititi). The film features a cast that also includes Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Rebel Wilson, Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie, Alfie Allen, and Stephen Merchant

IWriter director Taika Waititi (THOR: RAGNAROK, HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE), brings his signature style of humor and pathos to his latest film, JOJO RABBIT, a World War II satire that follows a lonely German boy (Roman Griffin Davis as JoJo) whose world view is turned upside down when he discovers his single mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a young Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. Aided only by his idiotic imaginary friend, Adolf Hitler (Taika Waititi), Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

Jojo Rabbit is set for release on October 18th in the US and on January 1st in the UK. It will also screen at the London Film festival on October 5th.
