Hasbro’s Disney Princess Style Series gives iconic characters a modern makeover

October 30, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Iconic Disney Princesses are receiving a stylish, modern makeover courtesy of Hasbro with the launch of a brand new deluxe Disney Princess Style Series range of fashion dolls.

Aimed at the collector’s market as much as children, the first wave of Disney Princess Style Series dolls include Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belle (Beauty and the Beast) and Mulan, each outfitted with classy dresses that mix contemporary elegance with their iconic style, and including rooted hair, rooted eyelashes, and accessories.

The Disney Princess Style Series is available now, priced $24.99 apiece, and we’re very grateful to Hasbro for sending a set of these rather classy and elegant Princesses our way! Check out the full details of each doll here:

Shine a spotlight on a contemporary style inspired by Belle’s world with this gorgeously outfitted Belle fashion doll. Her yellow tea-length dress includes a flatteringly cinched bodice and a 3-tiered skirt with sparkly rose details. She also includes a rose-shaped purse, a removable pair of shoes, and a rose necklace to tie her whole ensemble together. Her flowing brown hair will remind fans of their favorite courageous Princess from Disney’s classic movie, Beauty and the Beast.

Shine a spotlight on a contemporary style inspired by Mulan’s world with this gorgeously outfitted Mulan fashion doll. Her pink, gold, and blue dress includes an elegant high-neck sleeveless bodice and a knee-length skirt with a sheer, sparkly floor-length overlay. The detail on her skirt is a beautiful pearly petal print that looks like it’s blowing in the wind, and her outfit includes a deluxe ribbon that ties in a bow at the waist and has long, flowing ties. She also includes a fan-shaped purse, a removable pair of shoes, and a flower headband to tie her whole ensemble together. Her flowing black hair will remind fans of their favorite bold Princess from Disney’s classic movie, Mulan.

Shine a spotlight on this unique contemporary style inspired by Ariel’s world with this gorgeously outfitted Ariel fashion doll. Her 2-piece mermaid silhouette dress includes a teal, pearl-encrusted bodice and a purple skirt with a sparkly starfish and pearl printed teal overlay. She also includes a seashell-shaped purse, a removable pair of shoes, and a pearly seashell headband to tie her whole ensemble together. Her flowing red hair will remind fans of their favorite brave mermaid from Disney’s classic movie, The Little Mermaid.
