New poster and images for Wounds starring Armie Hammer, Dakota Johnson and Zazie Beetz

October 1, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

Netflix has released a new poster for Wounds featuring Armie Hammer along with a new trailer for writer-director Babak Anvari’s supernatural thriller which features a few snippets of new footage; take a look here…

WOUNDS is a probing thriller from writer/director Babak Anvari, following his award-winning 2016 debut feature Under the Shadow. The new movie advances the filmmaker’s examinations of everyday lives being upended by inner demons and external menace, as New Orleans bartender Will’s (Armie Hammer) retrieval of a lost phone subjects him to disturbing visions; pulled deeper into poisoned interactions with live-in girlfriend Carrie (Dakota Johnson) and bar regular Alicia (Zazie Beetz), Will’s rage escalates as the warping reality of his existence turns him towards a frightening portal.

Wounds arrives on Netflix on October 18th and features a cast that also includes Dakota Johnson (Bad Times at the El Royale), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Karl Glusman (Love), and Brad William Henke (Orange Is the New Black).
