Armando Iannucci’s space tourism comedy Avenue 5 gets a new trailer and premiere date

HBO has released a new trailer for Armando Iannucci’s (Veep) Avenue 5, which reveals that the series will premiere on January 19th.

Set 40 years in the future, the space tourism comedy stars Hugh Laurie as a captain of a luxury space cruise liner who is trying his best to keep everything in order and his passengers safe after an eight-week trip around Saturn goes wrong.

Alongside Laurie, Avenue 5 also features a cast that includes Josh Gad, Zach Woods, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Rebecca Front, Lenora Crichlow, Suzy Nakamura, and Ethan Phillips.
