Update for turn-based mobile RPG Epic Seven opens up new floors

March 8, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Smilegate Megaport and developer Super Creative have released a brand new update for their turn-based mobile RPG Epic Seven.  This latest update reworks the 5-star Hero Charlotte, makes the Comet Temple region accessible and opens up floors 91 to 100 of the Abyss.

The Comet Temple, once known as the heart of an empire, is a massive location and boasts an impressive exterior.  The opening of this brand new location sees the arrival of the ninth chapter of the Episode 2 story.  This new chapter will continue the story of episode 2 across ten main stages and six optional stages.

Popular 5-star Hero, Charlotte, has also received a complete remake of her skills which will allow her to be more widely used.  Her Vortex skill now provides a high chance of inflicting the unhealable debuff and a guaranteed critical hit on a successful attack.  To celebrate her remake, there is an increased drop rate event for her and the Holy Sacrifice Artifact which will last until the 12th March.

The Abyss is one of the harder locations of the game, designed to provide the strongest players a challenge and this challenge is increased further with the opening of floors 91-100.  These floors will give players the chance to earn large amounts of in-game currencies and top-grade items.

Finally, the Bittersweet Dessert Festival side story will make the third week and final week of content available to players who have cleared the previous stage.

“We are very excited to introduce all this new content to our players. We will continue to improve Hero balance and add new content so that Epic Seven can be as enjoyable as possible.” said Sanghoon Lee, Smilegate Megaport’s Business Department Manager.
