Captain America arrives in Fortnite

July 3, 2020 by Andrew Newton

Epic Games has announced that the First Avenger, good old Captain America, is now available in the Fortnite Item Shop.  With this new outfit in the shop players may look like the hero but it is up to them to provide the same iron will and determination to win. See the hero in action in the new trailer below….

The Captain America outfit includes two items, his Proto-Adamantium Pickaxe and Back Bling.  Wield the shield like the pickaxe or kit it out on your back and show it off to the world as you jump, shoot and melee your way to victory.  There’s also the addition of Captain America’s Grand Salute Emote to really make your character stand out on the battlefield.

Captain America isn’t the only superhero to arrive in Fortnite lately, along with the Chapter 2 Season 3 Battle Pass, players were able to get their hands on Jason Momoa’s Aquaman.  Read more about Aquaman’s arrival in-game and the Battle Pass here.

Fortnite Battle Royale is the completely free 100 player PvP mode set across one giant map. Dive into the action from a flying Battle Bus and be the last one standing to win.

Captain America is available in the Item Shop now.
