Oliver Twist gets a modern reimagining in trailer for Twist

October 1, 2020 by Amie Cranswick

Sky Cinema has released a poster and trailer for Twist, the upcoming modern retelling of the Charles Dickens classic Oliver Twist.

Directed by Martin Owen, the film features a cast that includes newcomer Raff Law alongside in the title role alongside Michael Caine (The Dark Knight) as Fagin, Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) as Sikes, Rita Ora (Fifty Shades of Grey Trilogy) as Dodge, Franz Drameh (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow) as Batesey, and Sophie Simnett (Daybreak) as Red.

Twist, a Sky original, is a Dickens’ classic brought thrillingly up to date in the teeming heartland of modern London, where a group of street smart young hustlers plan the heist of the century for the ultimate payday.

Twist is coming to Sky Cinema early in 2021.
