Follow Rule #2 with Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever out now on Oculus Quest

March 26, 2021 by Andrew Newton

VR development studio XR Games have today released Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever on Oculus Quest for £14.99/ $19.99.  This game combining speed, skill, accuracy and powerful weapons with the universe of Zombieland has been inspired by the light-gun games of the 90s and the racing games of today.  Watch the trailer below to see what’s in store.

Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever allows fans of the movies to join their apocalypse heroes and heroines, Tallahassee, Wichita, Columbus and Little Rock, as they head into Silicon Valley to launch a zombie-killing racecourse called the Zombieland Invitational.  Get trained up by these kick arse survivors and take part in an addictive, replayable, zombie-killing race experience.

Be fast and claw your way to the top of the leaderboards, gain two quick zombie headshots in a row to kickstart the adrenaline boost which will slow the world down allowing players more time to rack up combos.

There’s a range of powerful weapons to use from revolvers to assault rifles and these come with upgrades to really boost their head popping ability.

Featuring:

  • Get trained up by Tallahassee, Wichita, Columbus and Little Rock then join them to take on the undead.
  • Make use of the Adrenaline system to make the world slow down and gain combos.
  • Challenge friends, beat their times and climb up the global leaderboard.
  • Unlock shotguns, revolvers, assault rifles and more.
  • Improve your arsenal with powerful upgrades and perks.

“The Zombieland world is a no-nonsense kind of place, and to this end, we’ve made one of the purest shooting games for VR,” said Bobby Thandi, Founder and CEO, XR Games. “We hand-crafted the content, upping replayability, and incorporated mechanics from racing games such as time splits so you know exactly how well you’re doing. It’s about practicing ’til you’re perfect. Your speed and accuracy with each shot are imperative to score the fastest time”.

Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever is available now for Oculus Quest.
