Venom: Let There Be Carnage release date pushed back one week

Sony has announced that Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel to 2018’s Venom, has been delayed by one week from September 17th 2021 to September 24th 2021.

The upcoming Sony/Marvel sequel was originally intended to debut on October 2nd 2020 but was later delayed to June 25th 2021 due to the ongoing global health before being pushed back another three months to the aforementioned September 17th 2021.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will see Tom Hardy return as Eddie Brock, the reporter who has bonded with an alien symbiote named Venom who will be going head-to-head with Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady who has bonded with the villainous symbiote, Carnage.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage sees Andy Serkis (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle) directing returning cast members Tom Hardy (Eddie Brock/Venom), Michelle Williams (Anne Weying) and Woody Harrelson (Cletus Kasady/Carnage) alongside new additions Naomie Harris (No Time To Die) and Stephen Graham (The Irishman).
