First official look at Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron and Yana Perrault’s Powerpuff Girls

April 12, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

We’ve already had a peek at Chloe Bennet, Dove Cameron, and Yana Perrault in costume thanks to a batch of set photos, but now The CW has released the first official image of Bubbles (Cameron), Blossom (Bennet) and Buttercup (Perrault) from the live-action Powerpuff Girls sequel series Powerpuff. See the three heroes here…

Created by Diablo Cody and Heather Regnier, the series picks up years after the animated show with Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup now disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crimefighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?

Powerpuff also stars Donald Faison (Scrubs) as Professor Utonium, Nicholas Podany (Hart of Dixie) as Mojo Jojo Jr, and Robyn Lively (Light As A Feather) as Sara Bellum, the original series’ Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) once again serving as narrator.
