When you think about it, modern blockbusters rarely feature women in a villainous role. For every female that manages to get her time to shine, there are at least 10 male counterparts already out. In the 10+ years that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has dominated the big screen, for example, Hela is the only female to get a main villainous role.
