Not Another Weekend to release on Steam this month

May 5, 2021 by Andrew Newton

Dionous Games has announced they will be releasing their point-and-click pixel adventure, Not Another Weekend, on 20th May on Steam for PC and Mac.  This humorous adventure pays tribute to 80’s pop culture and a time when exploration games and text adventures ruled supreme.

Not Another Weekend takes players to the Hotel 404, an exclusive 6 star hotel that caters for that section of the upper class who are rude, arrogant and snobbish.  Taking the role of humble bellboy, Mike Melkout, players must get their revenge on those terrible guests by working on his plan to kick out the guests during the weekend.

Players will journey around the hotel, solving puzzles, experiencing dark humoured situations and interacting with a number of guests ranging from famous wrestlers, popular movie stars and talentless singers.

A classic inspired point and click interface and pixel-art style will allow players to enjoy the adventure like they were back in the day.

Featuring:

  • Pixel-art visuals pleasing to those who remember the 80s.
  • A unique story with unexpected surprises.
  • Crazy and weird personalities from the 80s.
  • Challenging puzzles to solve.
  • Adult humour.
  • Classic point and click interface.

Not Another Weekend releases on Steam on 20th May for PC, Mac and Linux systems.
