Christina Ricci joins The Matrix 4

As noted by Collider, Warner Bros. has released an updated press kit for Lana Wachowski’s The Matrix 4 which reveals that The Addams Family and Sleepy Hollow star Christina Ricci is set to appear in the sci-fi action sequel in an as-yet-unrevealed role.

The Matrix 4 is shrouded in secrecy, without so much as a teaser or even at title at this point, but we do know that the film will see the return of Keanu Reeves (Neo), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity), Jada Pinkett Smith (Niobe) and Daniel Bernhardt (Agent Johnson).

New additions alongside Ricci include Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Watchmen), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), Neil Patrick Harris (A Series of Unfortunate Events), Jonathan Groff (Frozen II), Priyanka Chopra (Baywatch), Ellen Hollman (Spartacus) and Andrew Caldwell (iZombie), as well as Sense8 stars Erendira Ibarra, Toby Onwumere, Max Riemelt and Brian J. Smith.

The Matrix 4 is set for release on December 22nd.
