Artificial intelligence is a topic that scares rich folks like Elon Musk and James Cameron, and there’s a reason why- its potential exists everywhere. Despite the warnings in movies like 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Terminator, advances in computer interface systems have been made, making them more independent and integrated with one another.

Robots are a subset of this development- beings composed of cybernetic parts who could easily turn on us with just as simple programming code. As you can imagine, plenty of B-movies have taken it upon themselves to explore this concept, if not thematically, then at least action-wise.
