Xbox Games with Gold for September 2021 announced

August 26, 2021 by Andrew Newton

September’s Xbox Games with Gold have been revealed and Gold subscribers are in for a treat with an adventure RPG in the Warhammer world, an adventure in north Mexico with an ancient culture, non-stop sci-fi shooting action and beat up fun with a far east theme.

Starting from 1st September is the action adventure RPG, Warhammer: Chaosbane.  With this RPG players can join up with up to 4 friends and venture into the Warhammer world as one of 5 different classes.  Here they will fight their way through hordes of monsters using a variety of weapons and a huge assortment of powers, there’s more than 180 different powers with which to decimate enemies.  There’s more than 70 different species of monsters, beasts and other vile creatures aligned with the Chaos gods that players will need to defeat.

September 16th to 15th October is Maluka, an adventure based on the mythology of the Tarahumara people. In this action adventure, players follow Sukuruame, a Tarahumara Shaman.  There’s a foul corruption spreading across the land and Sukuruame has to call on the powers of the demigods to defeat them and put the land right.  There’s puzzles to solve, demons to defeat and powerful transformations to make.

From 1st September to the 15th is the Xbox 360 game Zone of the Enders HD Collection.  This sci-fi third person shooter is backwards compatible and takes players to a future where humanity has colonised the Solar System.  This collection includes the original Zone of the Enders and its sequel Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner.  The first game in the collection follows Leo Stenbuck, a colonist of Jupiter who finds himself piloting a huge mech’.  The sequel is set two years after and another adventure in the same mech’ but with another pilot.

Finally, from September 16th to 30th September is Samurai Shodown II.  This beat-em up will have players fighting others to determine the fate of the world. Samurai Shodown II is also backwards compatible.

Are you excited about any games this month? Let us know on our Twitter feed.  Personally, as a bit of a fan of the Warhammer world I’m really looking forward to Warhammer: Chaosbane.
