Sylvester Stallone’s Ultimate Director’s Cut of Rocky IV gets a trailer and one night only theatrical release

October 2, 2021 by Gary Collinson

MGM has announced that Rocky v. Drago: The Ultimate Director’s Cut – Sylvester Stallone’s new cut of 1985’s Rocky IV – is set for a one night only theatrical release from Fathom Events on November 11th, before releasing on demand the following day. Check out the poster and trailer for Rocky v. Drago here…

After more than 35 years, director, writer and star Sylvester Stallone masterfully reshapes ROCKY IV, delivering 40 minutes of never-before-seen footage. The fight scenes are more intense, the music is more powerful and the drama is heightened as world heavyweight champion Rocky Balboa (Stallone) must defend his title once again, this time against his most formidable opponent: Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren).

Rocky IV: Rocky v. Drago: The Ultimate Director’s Cut is released theatrically on November 11th alongside a special live Q&A with Sylvester Stallone, and will be available on demand from November 12th.
