Belfast and West Side Story dominate Critics Choice Awards 2022 nominations

The nominations for the 2022 Critics Choice Awards are in, and the critics’ group has picked out the best of the best.

Belfast from Focus Features and West Side Story from 20th Century Studios lead this year’s film contenders, earning eleven nominations each. Other Best Picture contenders like Dune and The Power of the Dog picked up ten each. Newcomers like West Side Story’s Rachel Zegler saw first-time nominations, while industry legends like Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman earned acting noms in their respected categories.
