December 14, 2021 by Amie Cranswick

It looks like composer Michael Giacchino is set for a swift return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the Oscar-winner announcing on social media that he’s set to follow this week’s Spider-Man: No Way Home by scoring the God of Thunder’s next solo outing, Thor: Love and Thunder.

Giacchino first boarded the MCU train for 2016’s Doctor Strange, and followed this up with Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home. He also previously collaborated with Thor: Love and Thunder director Taika Waititi on Jojo Rabbit, while his upcoming scores include The Batman and Jurassic World Dominion.
