Shudder’s Dutch folk horror Moloch gets a trailer, poster and images

June 17, 2022 by Amie Cranswick

Shudder has released a poster, trailer and images for Moloch, a Dutch folk horror from director Nico van den Brink, which centres on a family living on the edge of a peat bog in the Netherlands, who begin to suspect they are being hunted by an ancient evil when they are attacked one night.

Check out the poster, trailer and synopsis for the film, which stars Sallie Harmsen (Blade Runner 2049) and Alexandre Willaume (The Wheel of Time)…

In Moloch, 38-year-old Betriek lives at the edge of a peat bog in the North of the Netherlands. When she and her family are attacked by a random stranger one night, Betriek sets out to find an explanation. The more she digs, the more she becomes convinced that she is being hunted by something ancient.

Moloch premieres on Shudder on July 21st.
