Return to Westeros with House of the Dragon featurette

HBO has released a new featurette from the hotly-anticipated Game of Thrones spinoff, House of the Dragon, which sees stars Paddy Considine, Steve Toussaint, Emma D’Arcy, Milly Alcock, Rhys Ifans, Eve Best, Matt Smith, author George R.R. Martin and members of the production team talking about entering the world of Westeros and telling the story of Targaryens at the height of their power; watch it below…

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones,” tells the story of House Targaryen.

House of the Dragon features a cast that includes Paddy Considine (The Outsider), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), Olivia Cooke (Ready Player One), Emma D’Arcy (Truth Seekers), Rhys Ifans (The Amazing Spider-Man), Steve Toussaint (Small Axe), Sonoya Minuzo (Crazy Rich Asians), Eve Best (Nurse Jackie), and Graham McTavish (Outlander).

House of the Dragon will premiere on HBO on August 21st in the US, and on Sky Atlantic and NOW on August 22nd in the UK.
