Pooh and Piglet go wild in trailer for Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey

August 31, 2022 by Matt Rodgers

If you thought Disney’s 2018 Christopher Robin was a far too melancholy take on growing old which left you as sad as Eeyore on a grey day, then brace yourselves for an even darker trip to Hundred Acre Wood in the shape of writer-director Rhys Frake-Waterfield’s horror retelling of the A.A. Milne’s classic, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.

Now that the world of Winnie the Pooh has lapsed into the public domain, instead of dipping his paws in jars of honey, Pooh seems more concerned with getting them covered in blood. Destined to become a beer-in-hand midnight screening favourite, you can check out the trailer below…

“Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey follows Pooh and Piglet as they go on a rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them.”

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey features a cast that includes Amber Doig-Thorne, Maria Taylor, and Danielle Scott. It is expected to release later this year.
