First trailer for dystopian sci-fi series Silo starring Rebecca Ferguson

March 6, 2023 by Amie Cranswick

Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for Silo, the upcoming drama based on Hugh Howey’s New York Times bestselling trilogy.

Set in a dystopian future, the series follows engineer Julia (Rebecca Ferguson) as she begins to uncover shocking secrets and the truth behind the underground silo that thousands call their home, when its residents begin dying mysteriously.

Graham Yost (Band of Brothers, Justified) serves as showrunner on Silo, which sees Rebecca Ferguson joined in the cast by Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, and Tim Robbins. Watch the trailer below…

Silo is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences. Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

Silo premieres on Apple TV+ June 30th.
