Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina star in trailer for Peacock’s Based on a True Story

Peacock has released a trailer, poster and images for the comedy thriller series Based on a True Story which stars Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina as a couple who capitalise on the recent obsession with true crime by making their own podcast focusing a murder in their town, believing they know who is responsible.

 

BASED ON A TRUE STORY is about a realtor, a former tennis star and a plumber who seize a unique opportunity to capitalize on America’s obsession with true crime.

The series stars Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, Tom Bateman, Priscilla Quintana, Liana Liberato, Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Aisha Alfa, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Li Jun Li.

Based on a True Story premieres on Peacock on June 8th.
