Netflix’s Chief Action Officer Arnold Schwarzenegger previews the streamer’s action slate

May 24, 2023 by Gary Collinson

As he prepares to head to the small screen for his first ever series regular role in Netflix’s FUBAR, the streamer has announced that it has appointed Arnold Schwarzenegger as the company’s ‘Chief Action Officer’ – a fitting role for a legendary action icon.

“I’ve always been passionate about delivering the best action possible, whether it was in my films like Terminator, in my new action comedy FUBAR or now as the Chief Action Officer,” states Arnold of his new ‘position’. “The toughest part is that I love action so much, I want to put it into everything I watch… romantic comedies, stand-up, dramas — all candidates for more explosions in my opinion.”

Check out the promo video here, which sees Arnie teasing the streamer’s action slate including the aforementioned FUBAR, and the likes of The Witcher, Extraction 2, Heart of Stone and more…

A CIA Operative on the verge of retirement discovers a family secret. Forced to go back into the field for one last job, the series tackles universal family dynamics set against a global backdrop of spies, action and humor.

FUBAR sees Arnold Schwarzenegger starring alongside Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Jay Baruchel, Andy Buckley, Aparna Brielle, Barbara Eve Harris, Fabiana Udenio and Gabriel Luna.

FUBAR premieres on Netflix on May 25th.
