Paramount Pictures has picked up the US distribution for the new comedy film from The Hangover writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.
Starring Leslie Mann (Knocked Up), the film marks the second directorial effort from Lucas and Moore after 21 & Over, and is based on an original screenplay from the duo. Mann’s husband, Judd Apatow, is producing the film.
Production on the film is set to start in the summer in and around New York, and it is set to be released on April 15th, 2016, which will see it go up against Disney’s live-action remake of The Jungle Book and the Jason Statham-Jessica Alba vehicle Mechanic: Resurrection.
Leslie Mann will next be seen in this summer’s Vacation, opposite Ed Helms, Christina Applegate, Chevy Chase and Chris Hemsworth.
