James Gunn reveals what Groot said to Rocket at the end of Avengers: Infinity War

May 9, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Avengers: Infinity War spoilers follow. You have been warned…

If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then chances are you felt a little downbeat – if not utterly devastated – when the credits began to roll on Avengers: Infinity War.

After Thanos achieved his goal of collecting the six Infinity Stones, he snapped his fingers, and we saw half of the Marvel Cinematic Universe turning to dust. And now, just to make things even worse, Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has revealed a rather heartbreaking translation of Groot’s final ‘I am Groot’ line to Rocket. Get your tissues ready…

@JamesGunn Might be too soon to ask this, but do you know what Groot's last line is at the end of the movie?
