Zac Efron’s Ted Bundy film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile set to premiere on Sky

June 11, 2018 by Matt Rodgers

Hardly an indication of quality thus far, the cinema/Sky Premiere same day release format has resulted in fare such as Monster Family, The Hurricane Heist, and Anon. Hoping to buck that trend will be Zac Efron’s Ted Bundy biopic, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, which will now debut on satellite television on the same day it is unleashed in UK cinemas.

There are no details on the release date, but based on the talent involved (Berlinger directed the Paradise Lost trilogy, so knows his way around a crime scene), plus the intrigue of watching Efron play a serial killer who murdered over thirty people, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, should hopefully be worth welcoming into your homes sometime later this year.

Zac Efron is taking on the role of Bundy in the film, which will tell the story through the eyes of his girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer, played by Lily Collins (To the Bone).

Also featuring in the cast are John Malkovich (Deepwater Horizon), Angela Sarafyan (Westworld), Grace Victoria Cox (Heathers), Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice), Kaya Scodelario (Maze Runner: The Death Cure), Jim Parsons (The Big Bang Theory), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Terry Kinney (Billions), Dylan Baker (The Americans), and Metallica frontman James Hetfield.
