With The Walt Disney Company’s planned acquisition of 20th Century Fox edging ever closer, it’s starting to seem likely that the heroes of the X-Men and Fantastic Four will soon be making their way home to Marvel Studios.
Marvel’s Kevin Feige has stated that he isn’t giving any thought to the characters and their possible introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe until the deal is signed, sealed and delivered, but one MCU veteran is already “dreaming” about getting the opportunity to tackle Marvel’s First Family.
“Well, I have been known to mention Fantastic Four in conversations that may or may not have happened in the Marvel hallways,” said Ant-Man and Ant-Man and the Wasp director Peyton Reed in an interview with Cinema Blend. “It’s all a giant question mark at this point, because no one knows if this merger is going to happen. It was on, it was off, it was on… who knows. I guess I can dream, right? I can have the dream. We’ll see. Time will tell!”

(Dave), while new additions to the cast include Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster/Goliath, Hannah John-Kamen as The Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo.
