Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp Character and Level Pack now available for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2

July 4, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have today released Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp Character and Level Pack DLC for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.  This DLC pack adds the two characters and a level inspired by the comic series and is available for the Xbox One for £2.39 and on PS4 and Steam for £2.49.

The brand new DLC pack takes Ant-Man and the Wasp to Hank Pym’s forgotten research lab to take on Egghead, their old adversary, who is up to his old fiendish tricks.  Players will fight their way past an assortment of enemies and thugs and even a giant mech chicken.  New unlockable characters to add to the 200+ roster of heroes and villains include Ant-Man, Wasp, Egghead, Crossfire, Stinger, The Human Fly, Giant-Man and Ghost.  All these new characters can be used to explore the variety of Marvel locations and the Open Hub World of Chronopolis.

The Ant-Man and the Wasp character and level pack DLC can be purchase separately or is available as part of the Season Pass which includes six Level Packs and four Character Packs.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is available on the Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC.

From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.

Ant-Man and the Wasp sees Peyton Reed returning to the director’s chair and stars Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), Evangeline Lilly (Hope Van Dyne), Michael Douglas (Hank Pym), Michael Pena (Luis), David Dastmalchian (Kurt), Abby Ryder Fortson (Cassie Lang), Judy Greer (Maggie), Bobby Cannavale (Paxton) and T.I. (Dave), while new additions to the cast include Michelle Pfeiffer as Janet Van Dyne, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster/Goliath, Hannah John-Kamen as The Ghost, Walton Goggins as Sonny Burch and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo.
