The World Ends with You: Final Remix coming to the Nintendo Switch this October

The definitive version of The World Ends with You: Final Remix, one of the most acclaimed portable games of the last 10 years is coming to the Nintendo Switch later this year.  This classic real time RPG has been adapted for using touch controls or Joy-Con  controllers and will arrive on 12th October.  A new teaser trailer can be seen below…

After regaining consciousness in the middle of a busy intersection without his memories Neku sets out through the crowded streets of Tokyo with his partner to survive a life or death game set over 7 days.  Those who take on the Reapers’ Game must complete daily missions, equip stat boosting threads and collect mysterious items that unleash devastating psychic abilities in battle.

Players are able to take to the streets as Neku in single player or in two player co-op mode where they can battle Noise and challenge the Reapers’ Game together.

This modern classic features:

  • Fight to survive the week long “Reapers’ Game” on the busy streets of Shibuya, Tokyo.
  • An exclusive new scenario for the Nintendo switch that makes this the definitive experience.
  • Collect mysterious, stylish pins that give powerful psychic abilities.
  • Take on enemies in real time, action fueled RPG battles.
  • New remixed music tracks, new enemies and lots morel content just for this edition.
  • Art from a team of artists led by producer Tetsuya Nomura, best known for his work on the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games.
  • A soundtrack from an array of genres, including everything from rock to hip-hop.
