Even though there is a week left until the series premiere of Titans, the future of the live-action Teen Titans show has already been confirmed. After the premiere was shown at the New York Comic-Con, it was announced that Titans has officially been renewed for a second season.
Titans follows a group of young superheroes led by Robin, who has left Batman’s side to lead this new team of emerging heroes. Joining him on the team is Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Hawk and Dove. The series will air through DC’s streaming service, DC Universe, in the United States while Netflix has acquired the rights to air it worldwide.

From executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, TITANS is an all-new live-action drama series that follows a group of young soon-to-be Super Heroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In this action-packed series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes, including Starfire, Raven and many others. TITANS is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
Titans sees Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales) leading the cast as Dick Grayson, alongside Teagan Croft (The Osiris Child) as Raven, Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Starfire, Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson (Smallville) as Hawk, Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Dove and Lindsey Gort (Lucifer) as Detective Amy Rohrbach. It is set to air on the new DC streaming service on October 12th.
