October 12, 2018 by Andrew Newton

Indie publisher 505 Games has announced that they will be bringing BAFTA Award winning game, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, to retail stores on 4th December.  The physical copy of this critically acclaimed title will be available for Playstation 4 for a mere £24.99.  A physical edition of the game for the Xbox One will be published by Microsoft.  A new trailer can be seen below…

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice takes players to the 8th century to follow Senua, a Celtic warrior, on her journey through a haunting vision quest to save the soul of her dead lover from the Viking hell.  The game has been created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis to enhance the experience of being pulled deep into Senua’s mind.

Since the game’s digital launch over a million players have taken Senua’s journey and has earned five 2018 BAFTA Games Awards, including Best British Game, Best Artistic Achievement, Best Game Beyond Entertainment, Best Performer and Best Audio Achievement.

From the makers of Heavenly Sword, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and DmC: Devil May Cry, comes a warrior’s brutal journey into myth and madness.

Set in the Viking age, a broken Celtic warrior embarks on a haunting vision quest into Viking Hell to fight for the soul of her dead lover.

Created in collaboration with neuroscientists and people who experience psychosis, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will pull you deep into Senua’s mind.

Be sure to get your physical copy of Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice this December.
