Rebecca Romijn to play cult leader in horror comedy Satanic Panic

October 14, 2018 by Amie Cranswick

Rebecca Romijn (X-Men) is set to play the leader of a cult of Satanists in the upcoming horror-comedy Satanic Panic, Deadline has revealed.

The film, directed by Fangoria’s Chelsea Stardust, will begin production this coming week and sees newcomer Hayley Griffith playing “a pizza delivery girl at the end of her financial rope, who has to fight for her life – and her tips – when her last order of the night turns of to be high society Satanists (led by Romijn) in need of a virgin sacrifice.”

Joining Romijn and Griffith in the cast of the film are Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day), Arden Myrin (Insatiable), Jerry O’Connell (Carter), AJ Bowen (The Sacrament), Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever), Jeff Daniel Phillips (The Lords of Salem), Hannah Stocking (Boo 2! A Madea Halloween), Michael Polish (Some Kind of Hate), Whitney Moore (House of Demons) and Skeeta Jenkins (Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich).

Romijn recently voiced Lois Lane in the animated movie The Death of Superman, and will soon be seen in the second season of CBS All Access’ Star Trek Discovery, where she is set to portray Number One, a character who appeared in the original Star Trek pilot ‘The Cage’ back in 1965.
