Ahead of its theatrical and VOD release next month, a poster and teaser trailer have arrived online for the upcoming horror-thriller Lords of Chaos. Directed by Jonas Akerland, the film is based on Michael Moynihan and Didrik Søderlind’s non-fiction book of the same, detailing the true story of the Norwegian black metal band Mayhem, and stars Rory Culkin, Emory Cohen, Sky Ferreira, Jack Kilmer, and Valter Skarsgård; check them out here…

A teenager’s quest to launch Norwegian Black Metal in Oslo in the 1980s results in a very violent outcome. Lords of Chaos tells the true story of True Norwegian Black Metal and its most notorious practitioners – a group of young men with a flair for publicity, church-burning and murder: MAYHEM.
Lords of Chaos is set for a theatrical release on February 8th, followed by a VOD release on February 22nd.
