Hanna shows off her combat skills in new trailer for Amazon’s TV series

January 8, 2019 by Ricky Church

After releasing its first mysterious teaser trailer over the weekend, Amazon has revealed another teaser for its upcoming action thriller series Hanna, which is based upon the 2011 film of the same name and follows a young girl trained and engineered to be an assassin as dark government forces chase her down. The latest teaser sees Esme Creed-Miles as Hanna showing off her combat skills as she fends off an attack. Watch it below…

Penned by David Farr, the writer of the original movie, Hanna is described as “a high-concept thriller and coming-of-age drama which follows the journey of an extraordinary young girl as she evades the relentless pursuit of an off-book CIA agent and tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.”

Hanna is being produced by NBC Universal International Studios and Working Title Television, with Sarah Adina Smith (Legion, Buster’s Mal Heart) set to direct. It will premiere on Amazon in March.
