LEGO City animated series coming to Nickelodeon this year

The LEGO Group is teaming with Nickelodeon for a new CG-animated comedy series entitled LEGO City, The Wrap has revealed.

The new show is set to “depict the funny, smart, and dynamic slices of life within the sprawling and diverse LEGO City community [and follows] the intertwining paths of the city’s everyday heroes as they work together to stop a mysterious master criminal who begins to wreak havoc on their town.”

The LEGO City series is scheduled to premiere on Nickelodeon later this year.
