Razzies 2019: Holmes & Watson, Donald Trump and Melissa McCarthy among the “winners” of the Golden Raspberry Awards

With the 91st Academy Awards taking place tomorrow evening, the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation has announced the “winners” of the 2019 Razzies, honouring the very worst cinematic achievement from the past twelve months.

The Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy Holmes & Watson was named Worst Picture, having been nominated alongside Gotti, The Happytime Murders, Robin Hood and Winchester, and was also “honoured” with Worst Director (Etan Cohen), Worst Supporting Actor (John C. Reilly) and Worst Remake, Ripoff, or Sequel.

Meanwhile Donald Trump picked up a couple of awards for Death of a Nation and Fahrenheit 11/9 – Worst Actor, and Worst Screen Couple (shared with His Self-Perpetuating Pettiness), while Melissa McCarthy was named Worst Actress for The Happytime Murders and Life of the Party.
