Richard E. Grant joins Game of Thrones season 6

According to Watchers on the Wall, British actor Richard E. Grant (Withnail & I, Doctor Who) has signed on to appear in the upcoming sixth season of HBO’s epic fantasy series Game of Thrones.

At this point, there’s no word on who he could be playing, although several new roles remain unfilled, including Randyll Tarly and Aeron Greyjoy.

Other newcomers to the sixth season of Game of Thrones include Ian McShane (Deadwood), Max von Sydow (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Pilou Asbæk (Lucy) and Freddie Stroma (UnREAL).
