World War II-themed strategy World on Fire out now on mobile

March 18, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Perfect World and developer Camel Games have announced the release of their World War II themed strategy game World on Fire on Android and iOS.  Players will be able to control a variety of troops and research alien technology in this free to play mobile strategy.  Watch the new trailer for this below…

In World on Fire, the world is in the midst of the Second World War, however, the war becomes more devastating when an alien warship crashes on Earth giving all forces access to the advanced technology.  Players will need to build up their bases and  research new alien technologies to aid them in battle.  Super weapons such as powered mechs will give players an edge in battle but there are still plenty of advantages to be gained in the good old tactic of forming alliances and working towards a common goal.  Battles will range in size from as small as ten to as large as hundreds with real-time map battles and allies will be able to jump in and send supporting troops at any time.

This mobile strategy features:

  • Four distinct military forces to command, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery and infantry.
  • Play solo or form alliances with friends.
  • Support your allies by jumping into battle with them at any time.
  • Discuss battle plans, strategies, and submit requests with your allies at any time with the intuitive communication system.
  • Experience dynamic battles ranging from small to large scale wars with hundreds of players facing off against one another.
  • Develop and customise your base to help your troops flourish.
  • Research new alien technologies to get ahead of the enemy.
  • Knowledge is power so keep in touch with the battle with real-time map updates featuring overall and in-battle focused views.
  • View past battles and on-going battles via the map feature.
