Physical format of Danganronpa Trilogy launches on PS4

March 28, 2019 by Andrew Newton

NIS America has announced the physical release of the Danganronpa Trilogy on Playstation 4 in North America.  This collection of titles combines Danganronpa 1 and 2, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony into the ultimate Danganronpa killing game yet.

In Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc players travel to Hope’s Peak Academy, a prestigious school for the nation’s “ultimate” students, however things take a turn for the worst when maniacal bear, Monokuma, takes them all prisoner in a deadly game of despair.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair features a new cast of Ultimate students who find themselves trapped on Jabberwock Island in yet another deadly game with a twisted teddy.

Set in a “psycho-cool” environment, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony will see 16 characters kidnapped and imprisoned in a school.  Twisted murders are happening and it is up to players to carry out a fast paced investigation.

Each of the games will provide players with a variety of mind-bending logic puzzles, minigames and verbal clashes which must be solved in order to uncover the truth behind each murder.

Ultimate students are a variety of people from maids to magicians and all become contestants in the sadistic Monokuma’s killing game.  These contestants will have to overcome the odds if they want to survive.

The Danganronpa Trilogy is available now on PS4 in North America and will arrive in Europe on 29th March.
