Beta for dungeon crawler Last Epoch arrives at the end of the month

April 12, 2019 by Andrew Newton

After the success of the Kickstarter campaign, Eleventh Hour Games has announced that the Beta for their time travelling dungeon crawler, Last Epoch, will launch on 30th April.  Last Epoch will see players travel through the dark and violent past of the world of Eterra.  A new trailer can be seen below showcasing the gameplay and some of the environments that players will travel through.

In Last Epoch players will explore alternate timelines of Eterra as they face off against dark empires and wrathful gods in order to save time itself from The Void.

This beta will provide 2 new mastery classes, the Paladin and the Druid, to the suite of classes and each of these will bring new lore and unique combat styles to players.  As well as new skills being available for these two new classes there will also be several new abilities and augment trees for existing classes, including Avalanche for the Shaman, Enchant Weapon and Shatter Strike for the Spellblade and finally Aegis, Forge Strike and Manifest Armor for the Forge Guard.

New features of the beta include:

  • A first look at an end game system, the Monolith of Fate.
  • 2.5 more chapters of story content bringing the total amount of chapters up to 5.
  • 2 new Mastery Classes, the Paladin and the Druid, join the existing roster of 13 classes.
  • 12 new skills
  • 6 new skill trees bringing the total to 110.

The Last Epoch beta will arrive on 30th April.  Visit here for more details.
