WWII-themed collectable card game KARDS out now on Steam Early Access

Developer 1939 Games has announced the release of their World War II-themed collectable card game KARDS on Steam Early Access.  Scheduled for full release on PC, Mac and mobile later this year, KARDS brings plenty of cards to build up the armies of five nations.  See more in the trailer below…

With the early access version of KARDS players will be able to build up decks of cards inspired by five different Nations’ armies, these include Britain, USA, Soviet Union, Germany and Japan.  Each of these will have their own unique playstyle determined by the different cards that make up their forces.  Among the various infantry, armoured vehicles and aircraft will b iconic units such as the legendary Spitfire Mk Ia.  The range of units available can be increased through the use of classic booster pack mechanics so that players can build a deck to suit their style.

The Early Access edition of KARDS features:

  • Five unique playable nations with their own cards and style of play.
  • Online PvP against other aspiring generals from around the world.
  • A unique frontline range/movement mechanic.
  • Beautiful, licensed and original art that is completely period appropriate.

KARDS is available to download now from Steam Early Access.
