VR fitness PowerBeatsVR arrives on Steam Early Access

April 20, 2019 by Andrew Newton

VR game developer Five Mind Creations has announced that their rhythm-based VR fitness game, PowerBeatsVR, is now available for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets on Steam Early Access.  The game’s launch trailer below shows some of the smashing fitness fun that can be had.

PowerBeatsVR provides an intense fitness workout that blends classic rhythm games with the movements of boxing and the evasive actions of dodgeball.  This workout will provide four different playstyles that focus on full body movement and will be different depending on weapons used, for example bare fists, dual-wielding powerful hammers and using shields to block.

There’s several stunning environments to choose from, including outer space, mysterious desert or medieval ages, which players can immerse themselves in, and three different difficulty levels from a fun workout to an intense calorie burn.

PowerBeatsVR is available now on Steam Early Access with a 20% discount available during the launch week.

PowerBeatsVR is a refreshling and intense rhythm-based VR fitness game with a focus on full-body movement and boxing. You can choose between three stunning environments and four different weapon types for your virtual workout: bare fist, hammer, shield, and a chargeable power-fist. Each weapon has its own unique feature and will result in a different playstyle.
