In the wake of Avengers: Endgame’s astonishing box office numbers – the film grossing an unbelievable $1.2 billion to shatter the previous record opening weekend of $640.5 million set by its predecessor Avengers: Infinity War – directors Anthony and Joe Russo have taken to Instagram to share a thank you to fans for making the final chapter of the Infinity Saga such an enormous success.
“We want to thank everyone who’s been on this journey with us, whether you started at the beginning or discovered it along the way,” writes the Russos. “We grew up in a big, loving family where stories were told at the dinner table to entertain each other. We now get to tell those stories to the world. All because of you… each and everyone one of you. With much love and respect… The RB’s.”
