Colin Hanks will return in Jumanji 3

With production having wrapped recently on Jumanji 3, audiences will see another familiar face return for the sequel as Colin Hanks has revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that he will reprise his Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle role in the upcoming film.

Hanks appeared in a cameo role in the previous film as the adult version of Nick Jonas’ Alex Vreeke. Hanks told the outlet “I’m not allowed to discuss or confirm or deny anything involving the Jumanji sequel. With the exception of, I am in it.”

The as-yet-untitled Jumanji 3 reunites director Jake Kasdan with Welcome to the Jungle stars Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Nick Jonas, Rhys Darby, Alex Wolff, Ser’Darius Blain, Madison Iseman, Morgan Turner and Colin Hanks, while new additions to the cast include Awkwafina (Crazy Rich Asians), Danny DeVito (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Danny Glover (Lethal Weapon). The film is set for release on December 13th.
