CW Seed announces Deathstroke animated series

May 18, 2019 by Gary Collinson

The CW President Mark Pedowitz has announced that CW Seed is working on an animated Deathstroke series entitled Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons. Here’s the official promotional artwork and synopsis…

Ten years ago, Slade Wilson—aka the super-assassin called Deathstroke—made a tragic mistake and his wife and son paid a terrible price. Now, a decade later, Wilson’s family is threatened once again by the murderous Jackal and the terrorists of H.IV.E. Can Deathstroke atone for the sins of the past—or will his family pay the ultimate price?

Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons follows on from CW Seed’s previous Arrowverse animated series Vixen and The Ray. As yet, there’s been no word as to whether we can expect Manu Bennett to reprise his role from Arrow.

Knights & Dragons isn’t the only upcoming small screen appearance from Slade Wilson, as Deathstroke is also set to feature in the second season of DC Universe’s Titans, where he will be portrayed by Esai Morales.
