Anarcute brings cute rioters to the Nintendo Switch next week

May 21, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Plug In Digital and indie developer Anarteam have announced their cute riot simulator, Anarcute, will arrive on the Nintendo Switch next week.  After the success of the game on PC and Xbox One in 2016, Anarcute is set to bring adorable aesthetics and chaotic destruction to the Switch on 30th May.

In Anarcute a groups of evil corporations have taken control of the world’s major cities and police forces and dictate the lives of the citizens, now it’s time to stand up to authority and take back the streets through riots, chaos and cute destruction.

Players won’t just lead one character in the riots, they will lead dozens of cute rioters against a large variety of the Brainwash Patrol’s forces, including lasers, electric turrets, spider robots, helicopters and more, across 5 cities with unique visuals ranging from Tokyo to Miami.  Each city will become a playground with a huge variety of objects being able to be used as projectiles, and if things get desperate enough there is the option to completely demolish buildings.

This riotous game features:

  • A group of adorable cute rioters to lead and wreak havoc with.
  • Numerous objects in the streets to pick up and throw at the Brainwash Patrol.
  • Destroy any building in your path and take advantage of the city’s layout.
  • Explore the world, fight the Brainwash Patrol and set it free.

Anarcute will arrive on the Nintendo eShop on 30th May.
