Final Fantasy returns to Puzzle and Dragons

August 6, 2019 by Andrew Newton

GungHo Online Entertainment has announced the return of the popular Final Fantasy to their mobile hit game, Puzzle and Dragons.  Until 18th August, there will be brand new characters available to players as well as all characters from the previous collaborations between the two games.

New characters arriving with this fifth collaboration will include fan favorites Aerith from Final Fantasy VII and Thancred from Final Fantasy XIV, this will be their first outing in Puzzle and Dragons and will be facing the big boss from Final Fantasy XII, Yiazmat, at the end of the 3 Player Multiplayer Dungeon.  Returning characters will include the popular Cloud and Sephiroth.

Special dungeons will make a return and will feature “4 players or less” floors, these will give players the chance to earn an Evo Material that can transform some FF characters, Pixelit.  Dungeons will drop exclusive collaboration medals and can be exchanged in the Monster Exchange for Locke from Final Fantasy VI.

Until 11th August players will be able to tackle the Fat Chocobo Gift Dungeon and from the 12th to the end of the event there will be the chance to earn a Moogle in the Moogle’s Gift Dungeon.

This special collaboration event is available now on Puzzle and Dragons, available from Google Play and the App Store.
