Marvel writer has an issue with Spider-Man killing in Avengers: Endgame

August 14, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Long-time Spider-Man comic writer Dan Slott has an issue with the character killing in Avengers: Endgame.

Many of our favourite heroes are renowned for their code or decision not to kill their enemies, proving to be morally superior than those who wish them and the world so much harm. Spider-Man is seen as one of these characters.

Therefore, Spider-Man comic book writer Dan Slott saw the character’s decision to use lethal force in Endgame against Thanos’ minions as a mistake and not in keeping with his character: “Confession: There was 1 moment I did NOT like in all of AVENGERS: ENDGAME. This. Peter Parker shouldn’t kill. Even when it comes to Thanos’ evil army of alien spacehounds. But not liking 1 moment out of 3 hours and 2 minutes ain’t that bad. :)”

This.

Peter Parker shouldn't kill. Even when it comes to Thanos' evil army of alien spacehounds.
