Thief Simulator VR coming soon to Early Access

September 28, 2019 by Andrew Newton

PlayWay and VR developer GameBoom VR have announced that the virtual reality version of Thief Simulator will be arriving on Steam Early Access soon.  This stealthy VR simulator will immerse players in a world where they must gather intel, break in to properties, steal valuables and sell them to buy hi-tech equipment.  An announcement trailer has been released and can be seen below…

Thief Simulator VR is an open world game that will give players the chance to experience life as a thief and steal from any building of their choosing, smash up belongings, pick locks and even nick cars.

This fully immersive VR title features:

  • Get the taste for some virtual breaking and entering by picking locks, climbing through windows and stealing valuables.
  • Follow the plot to pay off a large debt to a notorious family or go it alone to make a fortune.
  • Hack phones and computers, dismantle cars and sell hot goods in the pawn shop or online.
  • Use the proceeds from crime to buy better equipment and gadgets to help break into richer houses.
  • Take to the road in stolen cars with a fully implemented VR-adapted driving model.
  • Beware of anti-theft devices such as GPS trackers, security alarms etc.

Thief Simulator VR is stealing its way onto Steam Early Access soon.
